Singer-songwriter Phil Lee will perform n concert Saturday, June 21, at 8 pm at Prairie Blue Creative Arts at 114 N. Wilson, Jefferson. Doors will open at 7:30 pm. Admission is by donation.
Lee has been described as “combining the social consciousness of Woody Guthrie with the twisted furry of Jerry Lee Lewis.” According to press information, he crafts songs “that are home to a cast of social misfits, outcasts, petty criminals and people living on the fringe.”
Originally from North Carolina, Lee was a longtime resident of Nashville and recently moved to California. For a brief time he was a member of the Flying Burrito Brothers.
